Reaching our communities with the love of Jesus.

Your generosity helps meet needs, open doors, and create opportunities for people to experience Jesus.

Outreach is one way Turning Point lives out our mission: so that others can experience a relationship with Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. Through generosity, service, and compassion, we are able to meet practical needs and point people toward the hope of Jesus in Jesup, Brunswick, and beyond.

Outreach is love in action.

Jesus did not call His church to exist only for itself. He sends us to love people, serve people, and carry the hope of the gospel into the places where people live, work, learn, and struggle.

Outreach helps us meet practical needs while pointing people to the greatest need of all — a relationship with Jesus. A meal, a backpack, a gift, a prayer, a conversation, or a simple act of compassion can become a doorway for someone to experience the love and power of God.

We see people

Outreach helps us notice the needs, stories, and struggles of the people around us.

We serve people

We respond with compassion, generosity, prayer, and practical help.

We point people to Jesus

The ultimate goal is not just temporary relief, but eternal hope through Jesus.
Matthew 5:16
James 2:15–17
Acts 1:8
Galatians 6:10

Outreach happens because people give.

Outreach happens because people give.

Your giving becomes groceries, backpacks, meals, supplies, prayer moments, community events, and open doors for the gospel.

Every outreach opportunity requires more than good intentions. It takes resources, preparation, supplies, food, transportation, equipment, communication, and people willing to serve.

When you give, you help make outreach possible. Your generosity allows Turning Point to respond to needs, bless families, support community efforts, serve local schools, provide practical help, and create moments where people can encounter the love of Jesus.

Giving meets practical needs

Your generosity helps provide tangible support for individuals and families.

Giving creates opportunities

Outreach events often create moments for conversations, prayer, encouragement, and connection.

Giving strengthens our communities

When the church serves well, our cities experience the love of Jesus in visible ways.

Giving helps reach one more

Every gift can become part of someone else’s opportunity to experience Jesus.

Impact Trailer
The Impact Trailer goes out into the community to provide basic household items such as cleaning supplies, diapers, toiletries, and much more to those in need. Serve team members pray and witness to all who participate. This ministry quite literally meets people where they are, with the intent of pointing them to the love of God.
Clothing Trailers
In partnership with school counselors, a mobile clothing boutique provides brand new clothing, shoes, and backpacks to children in need. One trailer is designated for elementary ages, while the other is tailored for middle and high school students.
TP Treats
TP Treats is an ice cream trailer that provides FREE ice cream in the summer, and warm drinks in the winter. Serve teams invite families to church, pray for those in need, and witness the love of Christ to everyone served.
Blessing Boxes
Thanksgiving dinner, delivered straight to the door of those in need. Blessing Boxes are food donations for holiday meals. Turning Point provides frozen turkeys and chickens, while families fill the boxes with sides to complete an entire dinner. This is a whole family opportunity to spread the love of Jesus in a very practical and meaningful way.
TP Kicks
Every school year, Turning Point donates hundreds of pairs of shoes to children in need. Children come through the church, where they can receive a free haircut, girls can get their nails painted, and representatives from each school hand out school supplies and backpacks to every student in need.
Wayne and Glynn County Toy Drives
Every Christmas, Turning Point provides gifts for over 1000 children. Brand new toys are collected throughout the holiday season in businesses that partner for the drive. Children go on a Christmas journey through the church, where they hear the true meaning of Christmas and enjoy a holiday movie and treats while their parents receive gifts for the kids.
